The best commercial of 2012 (so far), “Imported from Detroit” won creative agency Wieden Kennedy an Effie on behalf of Chrysler. The advertising campaign creates pride in America’s tough-as-nails heartland (a la Clint Eastwood and Eminem), while gently reminding viewers that all of our cities could become wastelands if we choose imports over American made.
